KUALA LUMPUR - This photo was taken on 22nd July 2012 during the Sunday Feast in Sri Jagannatha Mandir, Kuala Lumpur (SJMKL). What you are seeing is this 93 year old grandmother, Lokamatha Adi Laksmi Devi Dasi (JPS) with her grandson Prakash.

They live in the Batu Caves area.

She was initiated by HH Jayapataka Swami 3yrs ago in SJMKL.

She suffered a massive stroke in May 2011 and the right side her body was totally paralysed, lost her memory and was bedridden.

She was admitted to the Selayang Hospital for 2 weeks and later recuperated at her home.

Her daughter says, all she could remember was the late Uttama Caitanya dasa, Srila Prabhupada and the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.

Today when this photo was taken she could raise both hands, able to talk and could remember me too. Wishing her all the best.

May their Lordships Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladev and Subhadra Maharani shower Their mercy and blessings upon this Grandmother.

All glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga. Hari Hari Bol!
